Disco...Curtis?

So, I just discovered this little treasure that hails from Dallas, Texas called Disco Curtis - three cool dudes with perfectly styled hair and sick beats. My initial draw to their myspace page was a notification from the one and only Jason Dean (of Artist vs Poet) that this band had a cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" on their profile. I have been waiting for a band to do a legit cover of this song. There are so many styles you can manipulate it into (I'm still waiting for the screamo version...). This cover does anything but disappoint. Let's just say I pretty much immediately added it to my profile because it is that epic. After listening to the cover a few times, I decided to give their other songs a listen because, let's be honest, there's only so many times you can listen to a song with the lyrics "what's the name of this club? I can't remember but it's alright" in a row. The other songs on their page were as enjoyable as the cover. I would highly recommend listening to "Suprise Me." It is extremely addictive. They're more popular than I realized, and have over 250 comments on their page from today alone, and the night's young! Yet, they still responded to the comment I left them - dedication to the fans like I've never seen - just one more reason to check them out.
